THE STORY BEHIND ROLAND PINE:You might wonder how the name Roland Pine evolved. Elizabeth Grubaugh, our designer lived up in Tuxedo Park, NY and was inspired by the lush forests of Harriman State Park on the drive to our studio in Garnerville, NY. This caused her to draw the pinecone you see on our Roland Pine packaging. The fragrance was born and matched to the pattern, and we decided we wanted to pay homage to our Rockland County roots, and named our pine Roland after a member of the Harriman family, Roland Harriman. Seemed fitting, and the rest is history!
